Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Consultant: Inpatient
Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inpatient coding audits and review services for client
sites remotely
Identify trends in coding audit findings and formulate
recommendations for corrective action plans
Provide in-service education and assist in designing educational
seminars for clients and staff
Required Qualifications
RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification
3-5 years of experience in inpatient facility audits and coding
Initiative to conduct research for maintaining knowledge and
skills
Ability to remain impartial in finalizing and presenting audit
findings
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in audit software and
HIPAA compliance
