Job Description:
A company is looking for an IVR Medical Coder, National
Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes for Interventional Radiology
services
Review and code clinical notes to ensure charge capture and
compliance
Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to resolve coding
denials and documentation issues
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or higher
Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
2+ years of Interventional Radiology coding experience
2+ years of experience with ICD-10
Proficient in using a PC in a Windows environment, including
Microsoft Excel and EMR systems
