  • Job Description: PCU nursing position at Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon.

    • Job Requirements
    • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
    • Experience in acute care, cardiac, and respiratory nursing is a must.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12-hour shifts from 1845 to 0715
      • Every other weekend requirement
      • 1 major and 1 minor holiday requirement
      • On-call for low census with a maximum response time of 45 minutes.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Common titratable drips include Cardizem, heparin, amiodarone
        • RT Equipment includes Cpap, Bipap, high flow nasal cannula
        • Tele monitoring available with monitor techs and RNs reading strips.
          • Additional Details
          • Facility is able to request a 90 Day Emergency License
          • Do NOT need OR license at time of submittal
          • Unit Notes: PCU with 20 beds, ratios of 1:3 (max 1:4 if medical overflow)
          • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor available
          • Nurse aids on this unit with ratios of 1:7 days, 1:11 nights
          • Unit/Department specific orientation of 2 shifts.
