Title: (Operating Room- Registered Nurse) - Permanent Hire
Location: Springfield, OR
Job Details:

• Pay- $47.40-$63.35
• AM/PM
• Part-Time and Full-Time Description of job: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care through the intra-operative surgery phase. Assists physicians during surgery and procedures by functioning in a circulating role. Participates with other center team members to provide optimal patient care and efficient patient flow, taking into consideration the population-specific needs for patients at all stages of life.
  Qualifications:
  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing Required.
  • Minimum of 1 year Required: Related experience in a multi-specialty Operating Room, preferably in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.
  • Required: Completion of an accredited OR training program.
  • Required: Registered Nurse in state of practice.
  • Required: Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
  • Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
  • Required: Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Responsibilities:
    • Performs professional intra-operative nursing care for patients to ensure a caring patient experience.
    • Coordinates with other internal or external disciplines that are involved in providing patient care.
    • Reviews inventory and stock levels of equipment and supplies before any procedures.
    • Ensures patient safety and care through the coordination of surgical technologists and surgeons.
    • Ensures patient safety through transportation, transferring, and positioning.
    • Assists during patient induction and emergence.
    • Completes appropriate medical records documentation and responds to patient requests for care.
    • Evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing care processes as necessary in consultation with other nursing staff and physicians.
    • Administers sedation analgesia under the direction of the attending physicians.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
