What You'll Do
The Wellness Director manages the operation of the Wellness
Department, including maintaining standards in elder care services;
supervision and oversight of the Wellness Department team,
including training and assigning overall duties in accordance with
the elders' needs; meeting financial and budgetary guidelines; and
upholding state regulations and procedures.
As the Wellness Services Director, you can expect a range of
responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:
You will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and
assigning significant overall duties/tasks in directing the work of
all Wellness Department team members with full accountability for
the performance of subordinates.
You will be responsible for creating staffing schedules that meet
state guidelines, time off requests, overtime guidelines or other
modifications in work schedules.
You will communicate and enforce policies and procedures, including
the Employer's policies and procedures, and directly discipline
and/or effectively recommend corrective and disciplinary action to
enforce such policies -
You will direct and coordinate elder service plans from move-in to
move-out, completing timely and accurate assessments and
evaluations as required by state regulations and Compass Senior
Living policy.
You will lead the Quality Assurance program, trending and tracking,
and correcting incidents as required by State Regulators. elder and
community team members
You will Perform licensed nurse tasks and medication passes within
the scope of practice as allowed by state law.
You will assist with coordinating care to elders with third-party
providers such as therapy, home healthcare, and hospice.
You will supervise the medication administration and/or assist with
the self-administration of medication programs as required by state
law.
You may act in the absence of the Administrator if necessary.
You will adhere to and establish financial goals and budgetary
guidelines for the Wellness Department.
You will remain abreast of current State regulations and Nurse
Practice Acts and compliance with regulatory processes, such as
State, OSHA, and EPA, assisting the community in continued
compliance with the policies and procedures of Compass Senior
Living, including those as outlined in the Quality Counts Policy
and Procedure Manual.
What You'll Bring
Licensed RN in good standing with State Licensing Authority
You will bring Relevant experience in Assisted Living and Memory
Care Settings.

You will be able to deal with difficult, sensitive, and
confidential issues.

write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only
speak English.
You will meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or
federal regulations.
You will be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential
Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
You will pass a criminal background check.
